Propaneandoiltraining.com is a project of Mike DiGiorgio and Shane Sweet that began in May 2021. Our classes, training and events are online, live, instructor-led propane and fuel-related training sessions.  On-site (at your location) is also an option for any training or classes that follow.  We regularly broadcast our class and event notices to over 20,000 propane retailer and propane-related contacts in the U.S. and abroad.

• CETP 1.0 Basic Principles and Practices of Propane - typically two days;  accelerated one day available. Skills Completion by us after the exam is now an option for all Book One non-accelerated students.

• CETP 2.2 Bobtail Delivery Operations -  typically two days;  accelerated one day available

• CETP 2.4 Cylinder Delivery operations -  typically two days;  accelerated one day available

• CETP Combo 2.2 & 2.4 class - typically 4 days;  accelerated two day available

• CETP 3.1-3.5 Basic Plant Operations - typically 3 days;  accelerated __ day available

• CETP 3.6 Performing Railcar Product Transfers and Maintaining DOT Intermodal Tanks - typically ??days;  accelerated ?? days available

• CETP 8.0 Large Industrial/Commercial Gas-Fired Equipment Connection and Service - typically ?? days;  accelerated available

• CETP Skill Assessments sessions:  complete the Skill Assessment and get your Certificate - All Virtual Hands On and offered as a stand-alone session..  Ask us.

• CETP Exam Sessions:  test at any of our open classes or schedule a private exam session when it works for you

• Due Diligence - We provide due diligence services for companies buying or selling companies.

• Hazardous Materials training for all fuels and petroleum products for required DOT class § 172.704 training requirements.   Required Initial training and recurrent (refresher) sessions can be run back to back and both completed in one day - We now offer the initial training in the morning and refresher starting at Noon or early afternoon EST.

• Hazardous Materials Security Plans - We review, edit and create HMSPs for fuel companies subject to this requirement.

• Policies and Procedures “P&P” by industry renowned experts.  We are affiliated with the foremost Policies & Procedures consultant in the propane industry.  The complete P&P  template is nearly 500 pages in length today.

• Emergency response training - are your responders that you expect to respond to an emergency trained and qualified to perform the tasks of an emergency responder? Reference 29 CFR, 49 CFR & NFPA.

• Fire Safety Analysis plans for propane bulk facilities and petroleum storage

• FSA Train the FSA Administrator(s) for your company

• Jurisdictional Systems - Operator Qualification and Operations & Maintenance ServicesL DIMP plans, UDP plans, and more for propane Jurisdictional Systems

• “Pump Station Training” - aka Dispensing Propane Safely virtual training sessions for those with propane pump stations

• Manuals - We will also prepare any manual that you need for your security plan.

• Propane Cylinder Requalification Training class - 4 hours - morning and afternoon sessions

• Petroleum Driver’s Manual - this is our trademarked Petroleum Driver’s Manual.

• Propane Tech Topics - These are FREE virtual live sessions for fuel retailers on a variety of propane and fuel related topics.  We issue Certificates of Participation for most sessions and these sessions are scheduled to run 15 to 30 minutes long.  We’ve covered Carbon Credits, Code, DOT regulations and most of these sessions come together when someone like you says “Hey, guys, how about a briefing on XYZ”.  The sessions are either presented by us or moderated by us with a third party Subject Matter Expert.  

• Propane Safety Talks Series - These are similar to the sessions above however these are underwritten by one of our clients and the New York Propane Gas Association/NY PERC.  Attendance is free for propane retailers in New York State.  Those persons not underwritten by an company or organization can attend for a nominal fee or a retail fuel company can send as many of their personnel as they wish for $250 a session.

• Custom Start and Scheduling - any of our classes may be tailored to your company needs.  For instance, if a 8 a.m. EST start does not work, we can and will start your class whenever you want.
