We are pleased to offer this Hazardous Materials Training and Hazardous Materials REFRESHER Training tailored for Propane with interest and need to be trained in accordance with 49 CFR 172.704.
 
This class provides HazMat training as required by 49 CFR § 172.704

Initial done in 5 hours or less
Recurrent done in 3 hours of less
$95 or $59 - choose the class you need
Testing is part of the course & included in each module.
Provides written documentation of training requirements:
the hazmat employee’s name; 
the completion date of the most recent training;
training materials used (copy, description, or location); 
the name and address of the hazmat trainer; and 
certification that the hazmat employee has been trained and tested.

(Training records must be retained for each hazmat employee for three years from the date of the last training, and for 90 days after the employee leaves.) Refresher (a.k.a “recurrent”) training must be documented every three years.
 
8 a.m. EST morning session constitutes the Initial Training for new hires for the purpose of meeting the 90-day requirement -  Duration 5 hours - Cost $95
 
2 p.m. afternoon session constitutes the Recurrent Training required every 3 (three) years for the Refresher requirement - Duration 3 hours - Cost $59
 
CHOOSING “REFRESHER”COUPON CODE:  Use the Coupon Code “REFRESHER” at checkout to choose the $59 Refresher Class.   This will reduce the class price from $95 to $59 and indicate you want the REFRESHER CLASS and not the full class
 
If you don't use the code “REFRESHER”, you will purchase and be registered for the full Initial Training class at $95 per person
 
Cost include training classes, relevant materials in pdf format. Attendees can download the textbook pdf from the PERC website or from the link we provide in this document.  No other fees.
 
This class is for you if you 
-do not have “Relevant Training” from a previous employer with the records for your current employer
- are new to your current job and have not completed the Initial Training within 90 days of your start
need to generate documentation of training for your current job

Cost:  Per Person, the cost includes all fees, as well as a pdf download of relevant materials for the class(es)  
The store accepts Credit cards or Paypal.  The “offline payment” or “manual payment” essentially means you will pay by check or other means after you register via the store and before the class.   If you have any problems with paying by card,  use the offline payment choice and we will invoice your company.   We have had reports of customers having issues with American Express for some reason.
Your payment will be processed via PayPal or “Wix Payments” and will appear as Shane Sweet or Shane Sweet LLC on your card statement
Both the Initial Training class and the Recurrent Training classes are Live - not a recording, not videos - and will be led and instructed by Mike Digiorgio of Silverback Consulting, one of America's recognized propane instructors, consultants and trainers.
Price includes all fees.   A link to the pdf of "Book" is shown below:  NOTE that when you try that link it could send us a notice asking us to grant your access to the file.  If you are prompted we will grant access right away and you will see an email telling you the link is open to you at the email you were using at the time.
Testing  throughout the course will be overseen by Mike and all paperwork will be submitted to you for your training files
PERC ACCOUNTS:  These clases do not require an account with PERC, however, if you will need to take classes that do require a PERC account, including CETP, and you don’t already have an account with PERC you should sign up with PERC.  It is easy and free. SKILL ASSESSMENTS:  Skill assessments are not required by PERC for this course. For PERC classes requiring Skill Assessments, Skill Assessments are required to be completed within one year of the class by you or your company or a third party. 
The cost of Skill Assessments for PERC CETP classes requiring them is NOT INCLUDED with the classes we offer, however Mike can assist with SAs if needed.  Skill assessments get sent directly to the company with paper exams. When you complete online exams through PERC the company has to download skill evaluations and use a proctor to process the assessments.  Skills Evaluations no longer go to ITS; it is no longer part of the certification program.  They get sent to PERC and must be signed by a proctor.
