We will provide a sign in sheet or certificate for the DOT & OSHA portion of the class. The certificate will include all the info that DOT requires for the training validation.

What a non-accelerated course (THIS COURSE) IS
A professional development program focused on newer professionals
Attendees will aggressively complete a workshop training that will provide key learnings together with best practices to advance through the program. 
It is our final goal to allow attendees to study with a live instructor and pass the final exam and
to ensure the attendees a total value learning experience similar to Blended Learning or better.
This class merges the Hazmat training into the bobtail delivery class (which fortunately is already partially incorporated into the 2.2 book.)   However, for compliance requirements, attendees must have the GREEN “OSHA & DOT TRAINING” PERC textbook as this will be referenced during class.
 
What an accelerated course (DOES NOT APPLY TO THIS COURSE) IS
This is not an accelerated course:   but what is the Fast Track Bobtail Course all about, you ask?  
Accelerated courses are not a strategically and tactically presented introductory course for inexperienced or new employees with NO Cargo Tank Motor Vehicle (BOBTAIL) knowledge.
Accelerated courses are not an in-depth program that drills down on each module. 
Accelerated training programs do not provide detailed explanations of the course content. 
Accelerated courses require PRIOR EXPERIENCE.  student self-instruction is imperative to pass the final exam for this accelerated class. NOT ACCELERATED COURSE
Accelerated means the students agree to self-study or advance preparation and students agree to read the module summaries, answer the questions in all the module quizzes, complete each module CHECK FOR UNDERSTANDING, spend a reasonable amount of time on the following lessons;
all of module 4 lesson 3, 
module 7 lesson 2 & 3, 
module 8 lesson 2, 
module 10 lesson 2;  make sure you remember the tank size distance requirements,
module 11 lesson 1 and 2 are critically important together with lesson 3.  
Accelerated means the actual class will complete in less than one day (using 2.2 as an example) , including live electronic testing on the PERC website at the end of the instructor-led session..

For 2.2 Bobtail, Book product ID is PRC-009210:   Updated to the most current edition of NFPA 58 and 49 CFR.The 2.2 course is  primarily designed to train employees who deliver propane in the bobtail (cargo tank motor vehicles).  This 2.2 curriculum provides information for drivers who operate commercial motor vehicles to deliver propane. It provides practices and procedures that support many general delivery tasks. Primarily designed to train employees who operate a bobtail, the most common vehicle used for transporting and delivering propane to individual customers.
 
The 2.2 topics covered are:
DOT Licensing and Driving Requirements
Vehicle Inspections, Identification, and documentation
Safely handling hazardous materials
Handling Out-Of-Gas Calls
Driving defensively
Vehicle parking, servicing and security
Bobtail equipment and systems, including cargo tank, gauges, valves, pumps, meters, delivery hoses and emergency discharge control equipment.
